Smartroof Secures ISO 14001 Certification: A Major Step in Environmental Leadership
Smartroof is proud to announce that it has officially been awarded ISO 14001 certification, under the auspices of the British Board of Agrément. This marks a pivotal moment in our sustainability journey and reinforces our commitment to rigorous environmental management across all our operations.
What ISO 14001 Means for Smartroof
ISO 14001 is a globally recognised Environmental Management System (EMS) standard that provides a framework for organisations to systematically manage their environmental responsibilities. Through its EMS, an organisation must identify its environmental impacts, set objectives, monitor performance and continuously improve.
For Smartroof, this certification validates that our processes, starting from material procurement and factory operations to logistics and waste management, are now following internationally recognised environmental controls. It demonstrates that we don’t just comply with sustainability expectations but proactively embed them into our core operations.
